The "I Can't Believe There's No Abortion Thread" Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo

Her ridiculous rule is apparently similar to one in Ohio that was recently overturned.

Also, it requires that these medications be prescribed "only after an in-person examination". Well, How soon after? If it's the patient's OB/GYN and they saw them within the year timeframe for normally allowed prescribing, does that count?

Either way, it's an obvious defacto ban on these as most doctor visits shifted to telemedicine for several months last year (and for most of us who have brains, continues now).

I assume this one is making the rounds, but saw a snippet that made a lot of sense to me. Paraphrasing: if you can force a woman to use her body to save the life of a fetus, then why isn't organ donation mandatory?

Our former anti abortion zealots on here never could answer my question to them about requiring fathers to be organ donors to their children if needed. They always sidestepped that one.

That's because opposition to abortion has never had the slightest thing to do with life. It is about putting female sexuality under the control of men.

Conservatives will never accept that women are free and equal human beings. Their magic book teaches the opposite. Women are sexual slave labor: first for a man to barter, then for a man to satisfy himself, then for the tribe to ensure reproduction to start the next cycle of slavery. She has no agency and no values apart from her role in a family controlled by men.

Conservatism is inherently misogynist.

Kavanaugh gets plastered and perhaps rapes someone. “Boys shouldn’t be held accountable rest of their lives for a mistake.”

girl gets preggo at 17 or 18? “Deal with it for rest of your life!!!”

It's no fun if you actually answer the question honestly. :-P

The more I think about the TX law, the more incredulous I am. I mean, can you imagine a state having the audacity to pass a law that any private citizen could sue another for $10k for posting a conservative meme on social media, and then having the audacity to sit back and say that technically the state isn’t suppressing free speech? Can you imagine? I’m looking at you, CA and NY. Please get this done.
