So, that was supposed to be the cushion that justified them overturning Roe. State's Rights.

Now, fuck the State's rights. We're banning this altogether.

So, the next Supreme Court ruling will be that abortion is Unconstitutional. Imagine. We'll have a Constitutional Ruling that kills pregnant women. And, Liz Cheney and all the MAGA Psychos will rejoice.

This is just going to keep happening as hospital system administrators and legal teams shift to a focus on risk aversion over patient care. The hospital CEO needs to make sure the hospital keeps getting to be a hospital. And sometimes they make the wrong decision.

edit: since virtually no one at the state level is operating in anything approaching good faith, hospital legal teams also need to budget for and anticipate the legal challenges coming from a doctor simply providing fucking life saving fucking care to patients.

Because that's what a functioning, modern society needs to be spending time doing.



Ugh. All this makes me so angry. If I worked in my exact role in one of these christofascist states, instead of furthering patient care initiatives, I'd be spending my time warning doctors not to do certain things, or waiting for legal guidance so I can make obnoxious pop-ups for whenever a doctor decides how to treat a patient. It's so ridiculous.

You can’t stop women from traveling to other states unless we set up border checks. Pregnancy tests for everyone. I bet lots of incels will sign up for those jobs.
