Its alright guys...Di$ney might be funding the destruction of the LGBTQ+ community but they will add some cool gay background characters to their TV shows so no harm done!
 
As a queer, I'm not surprised at all.

Hardly surprising.

I suspect Disney is one of those companies (like most in the Fortune 500) which bribes er supports every single Member of every single legislature in the West.

Businesses are not people. They have no human characteristics. They have no empathy or emotions or humanity. They are machines for enriching their owners, who while acting as such are sociopaths.

We also need to remember that most companies aren't political entities unless being political is good for their brand. Disney won't upset the apple cart on LGBTQ+ issues unless forced to, because they don't care and they're busy bribing... I mean lobbying... to make sure that whatever stupid laws Florida passes don't include them.
 
Businesses used to be some of our BEST Citizens. Now with our large monopolistic corporate culture we have destroyed that which was good. It's very sad and I hope they ALL take it in the shorts like Baseball did when they had to move the All-Star Game.

Yeah I am sure they are. Like all the companies that paused donations to GOPers who backed the coup but then unpaused them as soon as the fervor died down. Or the ones that stopped giving money to the supporters of the Georgia Voter Law then donated after people stopped caring.

Di$ney (and most large corporations) will do whatever makes them the most money. They have always been about that and they will always be about that.

Companies will donate to anti-trans and homophobic shit and then slap a rainbow on their logo in June.

It's why I've stopped shopping at Wally and now am not going to end up with Disney+.
