The GQP Thread: I'm even sick of that fuck's number and, anyway, he's gone (for now)

All of trump's enablers need to be removed from government. We need a genuine voter-led purge. I am not a Democrat. I've never formally joined a party and don't plan to do so, but I don't think I can vote for a Republican in good conscience any time soon.

In order for the Republican Party to heal, it must be destroyed and rebuilt.

I'm sure we'll be hearing all about "economic anxiety" from Republicans if and when Harris ever gets the nom. We all know what sort of anxiety that's really code for.

The current GOP. In a "nut"shell.

GOP Senate hopeful cancels event following swastika controversy
Herschel Walker yesterday canceled a fundraiser with a supporter who used a rendering of a swastika as her Twitter profile image.

I ask again cause stupid shit with them comes up over and over and over again. Don't they have staffers? How much do staffers get paid? I could do a better job than the clowns these guys have hired.

Herschel Walker wants you to know the swastika is not a swastika: https://twitter.com/BFriedmanDC/status/1448348519513874434

Another pic from the thread. Gets the Daily Double since there is a guy in a Captain America shirt!

Totally not a Swatzika.

So possible emails were enough to damn Hillary but nothing Trump did turned you off at all? The guy did everything you wished Hillary did and admitted it.

Those emails and that server were a security threat. January 6th was a backyard BBQ. Two different things.

Like pence could be kissing a dictators azz but Kamala laughing?

wait I’m sensing a theme

Lets not forget that almost immediately into dumpy's term, he totally violated security by having an open meeting in a restaurant about a very secure subject. And sic was fine with that, because he's allowed to. Not at all upset that there was a major security breach, or that there's any anger that he should be more careful- but the argument that he's "allowed to" was enough.

And that was the first of MANY events that dumpy risked American (read all of us citizens) security.

But it was more important about the the possible threat of a maybe, but not proven issue with Secretary Clinton totally disqualified her.

Still, all of that massive breach that was admitted, and the only issue is age. Somehow I suspect that he actually did vote for dumpy as opposed to the claims that he did not. He's taken hook, line, and sinker- just afraid to admit it.

So possible emails ...

Possible? Jim Comey on line one for you ...

That said, if AG MG had enough for a charge he'd have (rightfully) cuffed and frog-marched Trump for the cameras long ago. But that's happened to neither. Lots of heat; little light.

All the swirl around both the former SecState and and former President, and nary an actual charge of treason for either. Uncanny. It's like they're strawmen to focus opposing rage toward, and win ratings for media.

The false equivalence employed here is staggering. Utterly staggering.

Irrelevant. You condemned Secretary Clinton but had no problem with dumpy doing far worse. Hypocrisy at it's best.

You would never have voted for Secretary Clinton because of the security risk, but your current issue with the former president is his age, not the massive security risk that he actually was.

At least come clean that you like licking a rear end of the previous resident of the white house.

Bothsides. Got it.

We had a local radio personality who I have listened to and respected for decades draw an equivalence between Trump's responses to losing in 2020 and Hillary's responses to losing in 2016. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But this comparison takes the cake.

Yeah, that's outrageous. She was a bit slow to concede (like, a few hours). He never conceded and in fact attempted a coup. Those are not the same. One I find childish. One I find criminal.

Not even slow. The final three states came down to incredibly close numbers, they needed a few hours to make sure the results were what they were. That's not even worthy of being in the same conversation as never conceding and trying to kill Congress.
