It's Benghazi all over again. Remember, their top lawyers had Hillary Rodham Clinton under oath for 10 hours and could not trip her up or catch her in a lie. Trump can't breathe without lying. All Democrats have to do is use the truth even though it won't work on the mouth breathers cause they do not care about truth.

Bingo. The voters don't care about this stuff. They didn't with Benghazi, they didn't with Clinton, they didn't with Trump either. If the GOP is going to waste 2 years on this type of stuff they will lose the House in '24 and we will have Speaker Jeffries helping out President Biden in his (not the poster) swan song.

BTW I guess Qevin got MTG's support because he agreed to look into the treatment of the 1/6 prisoners. She fucking cucked him.

I mean, if they want to hand Biden a second term and probably lose the House again, then by all means go down that road. Nakedly partisan clown show hearings combined a third run by Dump will surely go well for the GQP the next two years.

I mean it isn't like we just had an election that was a full on embarrassment for them because of those things. I am sure this will go smashingly! (for us ;^) )

I know that the derp patrol truly believes this garbage, but I really wonder what otherwise-insane (but evil) people like McCarthy think about this garbage. What is his end game? He has to know this won't work. He has to know this is a political loser for them. The guy isn't an idiot.

Like, in a pure realipolitik way. Benghazi was a mess for them, and this is that but with even more stupidity. The country just slapped them down for people campaigning on obvious nonsense, so their response is "Hey, here's some more nonsense!"

It's not about getting anything done. It's about trying to catch the car that you know you can't catch but you know the other dogs really want to catch it.
 
The most insane part of all of this is that the GQP had a knife to Trump's - and Trumpism's - throat after January 6th. And they knew it. And they put the knife away and got back on their knees and bowed down to him.
