imagine the response if someone almost murdered Kate Middleton because they were trying to find Prince William.

I'm sure that half of campaign commercials throughout the country playing scary music when they mention her on screen has nothing to do with people underplaying a horrible assault.

By the way. I along with everyone else I am sure is seeing all the ads from Republicans whining incessantly about bail reform. Jon Oliver EVISCERATED that argument last night.

They'd be calling for every mean, violent, divisive Den in the country to be rounded up and imprisoned.

The surprise isn't the Right...it is the media. They covered this (and still do) like a Panda having a baby. They had more outrage over people being near Bret Kavanaugh during dinner.

That's a good point. I expect this nonsense from the right wing drivelsphere, but I'm surprised that the rest has tried so hard to downplay this. We had an assassination attempt on the Speaker of the House for fuck's sake.

Getting a lot of campaign texts these days. Living in Parise’s country, most of them are supporting RJ and similar white trash. I know it’s mindless to do so, but I’ve taken to answering them with sometimes profane insults of their candidate and dipshyt dump. Pointless waste of time but it’s time I have, kinda fun and great therapy. One recently responded by telling me I had successfully unsubscribed. :)

Don’t shake your heads. You’ll all be old and infirm someday.

There's no both sides with this. It's really bad.

Sure, there are nutbars on both sides. But only one side's nutbars worship guns and think they're talking to Jesus.

My wife's a guvvie, I work at a USG facility. This trash is a direct threat to us. The cops are there to help, but then again... "some of those who work forces..."

This is not normal politics. Dump is personally a joke, but what's happened since is marching straight down Sturmabteilung Strasse. Perhaps you personally have family loyalties to part of this movement, but surely that doesn't extend to the Dumpies and the Qtards. Maybe those groups have attached themselves to supposedly sane and sincere conservatives, but (1) they are a sizeable groups, and (2) no allegedly sane GOPer is calling them out except the exiles.

Nobody can say we haven't been warned hundreds of times, now. They're not whispering what they are -- they're shouting.
