Yes, If you are tired of culturally divisive issues, I totally agree. The party wanting women to take a pregnancy test to travel between states, overturn gay marriage, book banning , gleefully ensure more kids get mowed down by ARs and no right to privacy is totally the party id join, too

The left needs to counter this sort of thing. I fear they are not coming anywhere near close enough. The right have completely taken over law enforcement to the point where white nationalists and white supremacists now are a feature of police departments in every state in the country. Now the MAGAts are doing the same with local election boards and other local political entities. Don't count on law enforcement to stop the violence that will certainly be coming to polling places all over the country.

It would be hilarious if they contain some of the agents' true feelings about trump, that is if those feelings are those any thinking person SHOULD have.

It will be frightening if the texts instead point to the greater coordination and cooperation in the coup we all know was present at at least some levels of official Washington because we know nothing will come of that. Even with guns that are more smoking than anything we ever got during Watergate.

My guess is there will be a bunch of ho-hum logistics stuff and nothing that anyone could be held criminally liable for.

If this was SOP that's one thing. But if they went out of their way to cover their tracks then there's something nasty there.

Exactly. You don't commit a crime (deleting the texts) if there is nothing to hide. There is no need for the risk. I doubt (or more like fucking hope!) there is nothing pervasive but my guess is a couple of agents were sharing MAGA crap which looks bad and a few others were probably talking to the Oath Keepers...especially that one military chick from Ohio.

And the fact that Hunter Biden is trending again tells me there is something there...

I can't believe they thought the texts wouldn't be backed up...everything is backed up.

Our daughter dated a guy who was part of the presidential guard* at Camp David who knew a lot of Secret Service agents.

They aren't very smart.

* The guard detail doesn't really do much since the SS is in charge of POTUS security, but they appear in lots of photos at Camp David. They are show ponies. Dr. Mrs. liked to let her gaze linger upon this guy and TBH I couldn't blame her, he was F1 driver hot. I love my daughter, but she outkicked her coverage.
