I fixed the AHA Belt. I missed the game on 1/29 between Canisius and Mercyhurst. (Was it a reschedule?) This what I have this season.

It was supposed to be a Friday-Saturday series but got changed to a Saturday-Tuesday series after Mercyhurst's campus shut down after a water main break. I have the same results for the AHA Belt so far this season.

I don't know what the requirements are to be a part of the "Championship Belt." But, I'm going to the Miami vs. Western Michigan game (2 MAC schools) this next Saturday, and I was wondering if there could be or might be a MAC Belt? Miami, WMU, BGSU, UMass, I think those are the only MAC schools with D1 hockey? Miami and WMU will continue to play each other regularly in the NCHC and I suspect BGSU will probably play Miami and WMU every so often. Don't know if UMass has played these three in hockey much, if at all down through the years, and they've only been in the MAC since 2011. Just curious.

Edit: For that matter, I suppose there could be a GLIAC belt as well: Ferris, Lake State, Mi Tech, NMU. Just a thought.

All it would take would be someone to do the research. There could also be Liberty League Belt for Clarkson, RIT, RPI, SLU, and Union.

Isn't the Liberty League Belt just a feel-better version of the D-III belt? :eek:

Although, would we adjust for the fact that RIT did not start in the Liberty League until, I believe it was this year (maybe last)?

I think this year, but I am not sure. Also the league hasn't been called the Liberty League for that long. It was the Upstate something-or-other earlier.


Edit: Last year was RIT's first.

:confused: The three that NMU and MTU are contesting and the Ivy Belt. That looks like all to me. The Beanpot Belt, which I have not been posting, will be contested this evening. Am I missing something? The UP Belt perhaps? ;)

Except that a Belt with only three teams is hardly worth tracking. (Of course the D-III Playup Belt has been essentially one school since 1997.)
