The best NCAA Championship by a league (ever)....

Re: The best NCAA Championship by a league (ever)....

To be fair to them... they haven't been silenced, have they? I mean, they're walking the walk.

Good year? Yes. Real team like the old guard? Real conference like the old guard? We'll wait and see.

Re: The best NCAA Championship by a league (ever)....

The Q fans (minus our two friends in the Lodge) have been chest-thumping all season.

I check out most every thread every few days or so this season and I have seen nothing but class from the Q fans. Maybe I missed a thing or two somewhere, but I doubt it.

I'm referring to QU fans who were convinced that they would win it all this year. I think they're right. That streak was for real.

I think they are the favorites this year, yes. This year's team (have seen 2-3 games)? Great. Sustain that success and earn that respect. Yale is doing that. If Yale gets a couple titles in the next few years, yes, they will become part of the Big Boys' Club ( ;) ). The Q? Right now, they are just the next BSU/RIT.

Despite what The Mullet and Bucci keep saying on TV (all that "team no one believed in" stuff), QU is no Cinderella. They're a legit #1 overall seed that appear to be taking care of business.

Sure, maybe they have a little bit of that "no one really knows us, so we can surprise them" element that BSU and RIT rode into the Frozen Four, but this is no plucky group of over-acheivers.

Unless this whole season has been an act of over-acheiving pluck. In which case, sure, the analogy holds.

I guess "one-hit wonder" would be more accurate, not Cinderella team. :)

Let us not forget 1970 when two ECAC teams met in the final, with Cornell winning to cap an undefeated, untied season. No one has topped that.

The 2012-13 MN Gopher women's team would like to have a word with you. ;)

We'll see - tide is turning. Speed - and intelligence - kills!

So if yale is intelligence, then where is yours? If your representing yale then your doing a **** poor job of it. There is no one on this board who is as pathetic as you are and that is saying something bro.

I think everyone here would have no problem being happy for the ECAC but people like you make it very hard, seriously get a grip, read your posts and realize the childish garbage you have posted.

Re: The best NCAA Championship by a league (ever)....

The EZAC finally has a seat at the big boy table. It only took 20-25 years...congrats?
