Funny. The thread that is meant to discuss the future of the schools in the B1G, UND and DU, etc. has devolved into fans from those crappy schools left behind discussing which 7-11 they'll end up working at. You can't make it up. :rolleyes:

Whoever made the thread should be more specific about which new leagues they were referring to. I was under the impression this was about the new WCHA and new CCHA.

The odds of having a MTU business major being your boss as much smaller than a business major from UMD, UMTC, UST or many other fine institutions in Minnesota or the Upper Midwest.


Also, Notre Dame, please join the new conference. It would make me awfully happy!

This is what happens when the strongest posters on USCHO form a "Super League" alliance and work together. :)

There hasn't been an alliance this strong since Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Aqua Man formed the Superfriends in 1973. Of course if Bruce McLeod was running the League of Justice he would immediately invite the Green Lantern, Flash and Krypto [Superman's dog] to join the conference and dilute the league.

Versus should hire us to do the pregame show from Dirty's mother's basement.

I would prefer the name Super Duper Mega Collegiate Hockey League. With that knowledge it would be perfect.

Our best opportunity to grow the conference will be to include schools from planets that don't have Title IX yet. Perhaps Inter-Galactic Hockey Empire [IGHE]?

We'd have to move the pregame show, my mom moved and doesn't have a basement any longer. Unless you want to do the show from the crawl space. And just so we're clear, Miami is Aqua Man, right?

The original Justice League (circa 1960) consisted of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. When they started adding weak, wannabe members in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s it really went down the tubes. Funny, same thing with the WCHA. ;)

I think UND is Martian Manhunter. Why?
  • Green? Check.
  • From a barren, far-away place? Check.
  • Able to control the far weaker minds of others? Check.
  • Superman once said of the Manhunter, "He is the most powerful being on the face of the earth."
Has to be UND. ;)
