The Battle for the Imaginary Cup - NMU vs. Michigan Tech, 12/18/09 and 1/12/10

Re: The Battle for the Imaginary Cup - NMU vs. Michigan Tech, 12/18/09 and 1/12/10

I actually looked at my class schedule for the first time today, and I have a Tuesday Night class, so no Tech road trip for me :(

I'm sure you can miss syllabus day for a Tech/NMU game.

I think they take attendance and call your parents if you miss class at nmu. Its like a big high school.

At the high schools they went to, why would the admins have cared if future NMU students weren't there? :p

Thank heavens BWK has been suspended, eh!!! :D Now we can move forward and really debate hockey and all things related to the average weight of Tech women!!!

Tech Women Are Husky!!!

As for the game tomorrow night, I'm trying to adjust my schedule so that I may attend. My greatest fear is that I'll drive 150 into a miserable Keweenaw snow storm to watch Tech break this horrible winless record at the Wildcats expense. Please have mercy on us you whipped puppies!!!

This team has to win eventually.

Not if they keep turning the puck over and taking bad penalties they won't.

Regardless, here's some advice Brian Stewart should take:

TWENTY FIVE pages of reading?!?! Wow...
Actually that is kind of a lot for me...
:p
It'll be the most reading I've done in a long while, other than novels. :( :p

I would gladly take 25 pages of undergrad freshman reading. Right now, I have a three course total of about 100 to do, plus I have to write a response for one of them. It's all boring, black-and-white, grad school reading. :(

Getting back into this whole "thinking" thing is a bit difficult. :)

Thought you had some reading to do. Updating Facebook and checking USCHO isn't getting your 25 pages read.
Its been an hour, it shouldn't take more than an hour to read 25 pages, well at least I hope it doesn't.

Meh. I'm a fast reader. I just feel like I'm going to fall asleep. The library is way too quiet. I guess I'm just gonna have to buckle down and read about the Names of God.

I need background noise when I read, thats why at Tech I'd always study/read in the MUB instead of the library. The library is too quiet. Well, except when I'm reading a good novel with plenty of action, then it doesn't matter, I'll be hooked no matter what, and probably finish it within 2-3 days.
