I thought I was going to be bumming watching this. Instead I think my sides will hurt when I wake up in the AM> These guys are awful in a wonderful way

I'm still bumming watching it with all the reminders everywhere in the rink. I want Yale to win so at least we can say we lost to the national champion (plus I put my other Ivy League hat on when not rooting for Lowell).

Speaking of Hobey Baker -- my mom's dad (Col. Edwin Cooper) personally watched Baker's plane curl into its fatal dive. He recounts it as one event in his 26th (Yankee) Division History text.

Look up Baker in Wikipedia, and you'll see the text of his account (I inserted it there). The book itself is terrific -- has hundreds of photos that he took at the front lines while the key Signal Corps photographer.

It's both "the first time both team have been in the championship game", so that's the rumor.

He's lookng at tonight's title game press guide, and seems reasonably confident. Waiting for confirmation.
