The shitty thing if this happens, is that the Democrats will learn nothing and continue to govern from the center-right. Even if they flip the Senate by some miracle, Chucky Schumer will be Majority Leader, backed by the Senate Centrists (Slotkin, et al).
 
Because they are cowards. If they were to try that, the big GOP donors and the White House will collude to primary them with someone who will do whatever Trump and the billionaires want.

When they are faced with an aggressively more radical electorate, by the Weather Vane Theory they should all morph into Bernie. By the Billionaire Puppet Theory they should keep on keepin' on transferring wealth from the public purse and the middle class to the rich.

This is a test of why Democrats have been unable to reverse the Reagan Theft. Cowardice or collaboration?

**There is almost no chance Trump will be underwater with White People by then this is all just academic. But it is catastrophic if it comes to pass because White People are the only group they hold. Latino gains are gone, Black People have no interest and Jews wont go higher than they did in 2024. In 2024 White People were 78% of Trumps vote...any dip of that is very bad and we know Trump Voters mostly ignore when he is off the ticket so its not good from the jump.

Not even close. It’s 26 seats in the house and six seats in the senate give or take based on 2024 returns for the house and 2020 for the senate. And that’s with the latest D+10 generic poll that just came out.

So no offense, but I will trust the people who get paid to study this over any of us.

And for the record they are getting 26 seats easy no matter what.
