The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

Apparently the correct version is floating around out there that shows the final game is against Providence, not BU. I do like that the text version of the schedule indicates the Black Bears finish up with the Terries of Boston University. :D

Maine updated their website schedule image and schedule link to Providence.

Re: The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

Just checking on the Maine Hockey schedule...has Maine playing Providence 3 times...the DATES: Saturday October 5th @ Providence....then at the end of the season the last two weekends: Friday February 28th @ Providence and the following weekend Friday March 6th @ Maine....is this correct.??

Yes.

Re: The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

Updated spreadsheet to include Robert Morris and Michigan State schedules.

20 teams left to finalize all schedules although most of their schedule is already known from others.

Re: The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

Spreadsheet updated with SLU.

This clears up the rest of the OOCs ... PC should be in catamount cup, I'm just not sure who the mystery 4th team is yet. Some team is getting some extra OOC games this year.

Holy god, Clarkson and SLU 4 times??? That hasn't been done between both teams since 2013-2014. I'm pumped!

Re: The 2019-20 Schedules Thread

There could be massive changes to the WCHA Schedule due to the Alaska situation.

I don't think any changes will happen this year as it is getting late in the off-season and I believe the budget for Alaska in this budget year is set. After this season, all bets are off on both accounts.

That's the point: the governor slashed the budgets for this year and if not overridden the University of Alaska system has to cut $130 million from the 2019-20 budget. The total UAA athletic budget for 2017-18 was $12 million and the total UAF athletic budget for 2015-16 was $7.3 million, so eliminating athletics across the board would only save $20 million (less, as at this point athletic aid for the upcoming school year (about $4 million) would probably have to be honored. Still, to expect no cuts to athletics is unrealistic.
