It is what it is. I'm not going to tell another coach how to deal with his team, within reason. I'm concerned about my own team.

Cooper's hit in the 1st period could very easily have received the same treatment.

They've talked in detail about the Williams defense (deservedly so), but Williams has only 17 goals in 9 games themselves.

Oh, wow. I just saw another angle of the Williams major.

I'm sorry, but that should be a DQ. He put Leone into the boards from behind, from about 4 feet off the boards. If you're going to hit someone from behind (and we'd all rather that you didn't), that's just about the worst position on the ice to do it.

Did I miss something in the rule book? They're saying that there's a 3-goal limit on a major PP. I've never heard of that. Either they're wrong, or I need to look at the rule book again.

Not to my knowledge. It's as many as you can get in 5 minutes. There may be a local HS or youth hockey rule, but in the NCAA and other leagues, the sky is the limit.

I wouldn't tell them either....but it appears to work for Platty.... notice where they rank in penalty minutes ?

Not a good day for the NESCAC against quality foes.

Williams drops a 4-1 decision to Adrian
Amherst is about to lose 4-2 to Babson
with Wesleyan @ Norwich to come.

Trinity comes through! 4-3 over Manhattanville!

Middlebury is having an easy time with Canton 4-1 a bit past halftime.

Trinity ahead of Manhattanville 3-2 late in the third. Under a minute to go M'ville with an empty net. Mandigo of Trinity scores ENG 4-2 Trinity wins it.

Correction, M'Ville scores with the extra attacker, now 4-3 with less than a second left in the game, and its a final....

PxP guy from game one (who is now running a camera in game two) admits to the brain freeze...:eek: Lakers lead 1-0 after 1 period - a shorty for the Lakers
