Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

um what tickets have already been sold in South Bend?

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

There is going to be some fun games in Manchester! That place should be packed with generic college hockey fans to see these match-ups. BU vs. Minnesota would be WOW.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

Crazy. Not the best. Not the worst for MN. Rather be in Fargo...but its better than South Bend IMO.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

Dodged UND who is playing like crap and is the opponent where anything can happen, to get BU and the best player to play college (ever) if we beat UMD somehow.

Do YOU want to play UND at (basically) their home?

As was mentioned, Notre Dame fans were basically required to buy tickets to the regional. The arena is actually listed as sold out Notre Dame's ticketing site.

The real question - will the regional draw even less people than the couple hundred who were at the icebreaker tourney to start the season.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

Overall:

South Bend...1,16,8,9-Bracket integrity at the expense of attendance.
Fargo...2,13,7,12-Bracket integrity, except a change to avoid all NCHC matchup, and one to get Providence in Providence
Providence...4,15,5,11-Above switch for PC, and then 5 plays the lowest remaining seed since 12 has to play 7
Manchester...3,14,6,10-Bracket integrity except the 7/12 game affects the 6/10 matchup.

I would say the committee went pretty much chalk, except they treated PC as if it were a host.
