matchups will surprise some. not good year for bracketologists

Hmm. Interesting. Everyone starts at the same place. So Moy made two fundamental changes: switching SCSU to break up a first round meeting with Denver...and moving Harvard back east putting Minnesota in South Bend. You'd have to figure the differences would be related to those one or both of those two moves.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

And over the same period, there have been bracketology columns that have predicted the brackets quite accurately using consistent criteria none of which was an anti-WCHA conspiracy.

I really hate the paranoia some fans had about this. There was no smoke filled room screwing over the WCHA.

Good. As it should be. They earned the #1 seed and an ooportunity to allow many more of their fans to show up.

Yes, all 10 fans that will make the trip. You think actual attendance at the Joe this weekend was bad? The pictures of an empty Compton Family Arena will rival that of the B1GMistake. Sure, those seats have been sold but actual attendance?

It is going to be funny when they announce a near sellout to an empty rink though.

The thing is they should go cause the street value of a ticket will be nothing. Get 4 buddies and road trip you can watch the NCAAs for the price of a few tanks of gas :)

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

what's the point of a selection show if the info is getting leaked before? i mean not a huge deal, just seems disjointed. if the part about it not being a good year for bracketologists is correct...that i can understand. said last night that this is not like previous years where it was easy to put the bracket together.

You really did me a favor. when I went to search my files for past info. I found out I lost all my hockey data in the move to my new computer.

Does Dave Starman scare anyone else?

Like, in an "I'm scared that bodies are hidden under his floor boards" sort of way.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

NCAAIceHockey twitter says South Bend is MSUM v RIT; Omaha v Harvard. Even more empty. Wow. Just Wow.

Re: The 2015 Pairwise, Bracketology and History Thread

Wow, Harvard in South Bend! Providence and BC in Providence?

South Bend = tickets already sold, bracket integrity matters. Providence = no tickets sold, so maximize attendance.
