The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Enough colleges have released schedules that, from now until the start of the season, we're going to flip the script and look for this list to grow smaller.

HEA:
Boston University
This was posted on the BU thread:

OOC games:
10/10 @Union
10/16 U18s (exh)
10/17 Wisconsin
10/31 Denver
11/20 & 21 Michigan
11/28 MSG-Cornell
12/11 @Yale
12/12 @ Quinnipiac
2/1 BP-NU
2/8 BP-tbd

I've also read that the other 2 NC games will be Bentley @ BU on 11/24 and BU @ Harvard on 1/7, but they are not finalized yet. That would complete the BU NC schedule.

Many thanks. :)

On a note for Quinnipiac, one of Bentley/Northeastern is not going to happen, as that would put them at one game too many.

Bentley has played the Q most years since the Bobcats left the AHA for the ECAC. Bentley leads the BU "series" 1-0, so the Terriers could be looking for revenge.

The Q has had the ear of many AHC teams, also Holy Cross and UCONN (even though they are now Hockey East). The fact of the matter is that they're presently at 11 NC games known, and both Northeastern and Bentley have their ear. I agree that it will likely be Bentley, but I would not put it at 100% yet.

Yes, I'm still steaming from last year.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Clarkson missing home games:

Oct 3 McGill
Oct 23 Western Michigan 7:00
Oct 24 Western Michigan 7:30

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Composite Hockey East schedule is typically not officially released until September. Although, I seem to remember a league-specific look came out before that... anyone remember anything about that?

Yes, they released the 2013-14 schedule before the end of the 2012-13 season:

I'm not sure why it came out so early that year. Possibly due to the major changes in the playoff and regular season schedule due to the addition of Notre Dame.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Michigan will play state in Detroit at Joe Louis in the annual "Duel in the D" game on Friday, 2/5. On the doc, it lists that date as a Michigan home game at Yost which needs to be updated.

Also, Michigan will play US NTDP Under-18 in an exhibition game. The schedule post on MGoBlue gave it away by putting a footnote on the schedule that isn't completely released yet telling those who do not know what NTDP stands for, what it is.

Fair enough. Obviously your link only shows conference games, but do we know if the single game with Ferris is the game that qualifies for the Hall of Fame exemption? Sorry to sound like a broken record on this one, but wanted to get it clear, since Ferris State's schedule doesn't note anything about this, and based on what we have for your listing, you're one game heavy.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

IDK about that

WMU home comming/parent & family weekend is Oct 23-24th and I'm pretty sure they be home the weekend

Also, still waiting for something official from WMU regarding non conf schedule. I find it hard to believe they scheduled a Tues game with BG following a Fri/Sat home and home series vs Ferris.

Also wondering if there is a possibility they may be considering the Marruicci Classic

if it makes you feel any better, we get the same midweek crap when you come to BG on Wed., Dec. 30.: followed by home games with Clarkson on Jan. 2-3. meh. even worse, with no students around.
BG's only open weekend is Oct. 23-24. we've got an open date on Friday, Jan. 15, but playing in Oxford the next day so going to Kalamazoo on the 15th isn't happening. After home game with Miami State on Feb. 12, we've got Sat., Feb. 13 open too. but that's it.

The BG/WMU mid-week games on their schedule just doesn't make sense for either team with only two days off after/before another two games series.

Guess I'll just have to wait until WMU releases thier non-conf schedule to find out if it is for real

WMU is @ Clarkson 10/23 and 10/24 - I think the Saturday game is Parents Weekend at Clarkson, but am not sure.

This completes Minnesota's schedule, and also the non-conference schedule of Bentley. Quinnipiac is no longer one game long, as we can safely say they are not playing Bentley. The Q's NC schedule is complete.
