The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

I have one degree of separation from this woman. She's a dumpster fire. She self-describes as a "Hindu" but she actually belongs to an offshoot branch of Hare Krishna who were so cray cray they kicked them out. She's also incompetent. She's the daughter of a rich (and former Republican) political wheeler-dealer Mike Gabbard back in Hawaii; her dad bought her a leg position in Sen. Akaka's office where she demonstrated a cheerleader's face and brain. She's becoming a Fox darling now because her cult's leader, Chris Butler, hates gays and Muslims.

Now, being stupid and corrupt never barred anybody from political power, but she's just somebody I happen to know is a moral and intellectual car wreck.

How much did the NSA pay you to slander her? ;) :D

While Bibi was massaging the GOP prostate, Boehner was folding like a lawn chair. Looks like he'll use House rules to negate the prior no vote and pass the clean bill. The trogs are screaming for his head and his people are slagging them back. "The problem with Republicans is when they get in trouble they start acting like cannibals." -- R. Nixon

So while North Carolina OKs call girls for politicians, a South Carolina county GOP wants you to sign a pledge that you never had pre-marital sex, will be faithful to your spouse and will never look at pornography again.

Apparently they have an exception for trips to the "Appalachian Trail"

That's not from the onion?

Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

Maybe we'll *ahem* get lucky *ahrm* and the modern Republicans will Shaker themselves out.

Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

I can't even imagine the degree to which Fox News would be losing its collective mind if this had been Democrats who had pulled this stunt.

The Echo Chamber would be demanding public executions on the Washington Mall for treason.

But it's the same pattern as everything else about the Republicans. The party of family values has none personally, the party that lionizes the military treats soldiers like garbage, the party of economic opportunity crushes the middle class, the party of individual freedom pries into everybody's bedroom, etc...

Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

This from the party that claims we're fixated on the ancient history of Dubya.

It's an old tactic when you have no answer to hurl a counter-accusation. But the silence as to any defense of the present case speaks volumes.

Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

How about Article II, Section 2, Clause 2:

"[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur... "

Call the letters "outreach education".
