Re: The 114th Congress: How Low Can They Go?

Warren is far too important to be president. She needs to stay in a position where she can actually do something.

A Hillary presidency with a Warren SML and a Dem House I could get behind, particularly for court nominees. It's not that the Clintons are anti-liberal, they're simply pro-Clinton. If the winds are blowing left, they'll sail left.

(looks at raffle ticket}

(sees "Secular agenda")

(curses, crumples ticket)

You have no idea the struggles I had trying, and for the most part failing, to not burst out laughing in the office. One of the best posts I have read in a long *** time.

She like all the rest only care about not losing the money put up by big business. You don't mean **** to her

Yeah, well, she was one of my favorites and someone I used to enjoy voting for. This and another issue that I emailed her about last year are the straw that broke the camel's back.

It is not "all the rest," though. Even if it's only Liz and Bernie, there are people who try to save us from despotism.

It's infuriating how the Dems will fold like a card table on stuff like this. Congrats, billionaires; your bribes have brought home the goods.

I'd like to apologize now to the rest of the country for Joni Ernst's State of the Union rebuttal. Iowa isn't Kansas or Texas, I swear.

Something else is up. Why would klobuchar vote for that abortion?

If you figure it out let us know. I'm not very happy about it right now.

LOL. It will be an epic response. She's like Michelle Bachmann.

Oh, and Dear Itch and Bone Man. Pass a bill that makes sense instead of fighting a fight you can't win.

Plus Schumer didn't vote for it, and he's the Senator from Wall Street.

You're right, there's more to this than meets the eye. I'll check around.

I suspect it won't be that cray-cray. Set pieces like this are written by staff in consultation with leadership. The words will come out of Ernst's face hole, but they won't be hers.
