In honor of the 4th of July and the Most Ironic Clause in World History, this is a thread all about racism. Any racism at all -- as long as it's race it counts. We'll likely tend to concentrate on what we all know best -- American racism -- but if you're a Tuareg college hockey fan who hates Berbers you can play too!

To start us off, this was a fun poll that came out last week. The write-up has the highlights.

For levity, here. No big argument with the standings, though having lived in Boston I cannot fathom any city being more racist without literal weekly lynchings for public entertainment.

The South gets all the glory, but there aint no racist like a northern racist cuz a northern racist don't stop!

No Surprise:

Rhode Island red. (petulant mafiosi; originally had "Plantation" right in the state name)
Appalachia (yeah, nuff said)
The great, green West (best in everything else, might as well rock here, too)

Surprise:

Minnesota nice. (apparently the only Minny racists post to the Cops thread)
Northern Florida sane. (almost every map of this type has that area in screaming red)
U.P. racists? (as if there are any people of color in the U.P.)
