Sap alert! This post is inappropriately saccharine, so if you don't have a tolerance for such things, stop now.

OK, I know it's not Thanksgiving--but that's really the point. We are usually prompted to express gratitude, loyalty, love, faith, etc., on cue, usually to someone else's financial gain. So here we go.

Even though you are all a bunch of azzholes, idiots, snobs, lib*^*&s, knuckledraggers, and, worse, gopher fans, I really do enjoy what you bring to these often lame , sometimes brilliant, and usually entertaining discussions. Trolls and all. Some here know a lot about hockey. Some know a lot about music, booze, politics, or religion. Not to forget dead people. Those of us who don't know a lot about anything can still play and pretend. It's pretty good stuff, by and large, and I'm thankful it's all here for the taking whenever I want it.

So hats off to you jerks. Really.
