" Ten second error" on the message board

Has anyone else been getting an error message after posting asking the poster to wait ten seconds between posts, when in reality it is just the first post. I get the error about every ten posts or so. I have seen many double posts due to the glitch.

There's been a couple of different errors cropping up since the board got hacked a couple of months ago. It's irritating but I've learned to live with it for now.

Could you be hitting the Post link too hard and having your computer send the command twice?

Just tested twiceand I didn't get it. Are you still seeing the error?

I get a couple of different errors. Most frequent is a prompt to Leave or Stay on the page when submitting a reply. That seems to be somehow connected to the auto-save feature. I also get this 10-second, duplicate post error randomly. There doesn't seem to be any consistent scenario for when these occur.

I get that leaving page message box every time I post... After clicking to leave the page, I get redirected to the "Advanced" reply screen with a bunch of computer jibberish across the top of the page... The advanced post page has the same text that I already submitted... It also includes that 10 second wait required message... Obviously my post goes through however... If I click the post a 2nd time, I get a double post...

The only time I get a duplicate post is when the board gives me the "Leaving Page..." warning after hitting the "Post Quick Reply button, it loads the Full Reply page and then I click the "Post Reply" button on that page. If I get that page, then I simply click on the "USCHO Cafe" link, and the board only makes a single reply. It's irritating, but the work around is simply enough.

Whenever I get the "Leave this page..." error, this appears at the top of the screen:

For the past day or 2, I have not been getting any of the posting errors. However, every time a page loads I get "An add-on for this site failed to run" message, but no indication of what the add-on is.

Likewise,finally not getting the posting error the last couple of days when posting a quote.
