SUNYAC Championship Lightning Round: Plattsburgh vs Oswego

Re: SUNYAC Championship Lightning Round: Plattsburgh vs Oswego

I hear Governor Paterson will be at the game. Getting an early start on his farewell tour. Going to Shoney's with the rock eaters. LOL:D

but unlike Stevie Wonder, he can't tell the difference between red and green, even if it's a volkswagon.....

Knowing our esteemed Gov's judgment, he'll root for Plattsburgh in Laker Country. He did root for the Bingahamton Senators at the outdoor game in SYRACUSE!

At least the Lakers and Cardinals fans will be united in booing him.

Posted a new movie for Round 3 PSU v OSU (shameless plug, as always ) - it's a bit different from the others, due to the "computerized theme", but please let me know what you think.

Again, very impressive, but, since you titled it "FINAL BATTLE 2010", obviously, you don't think Oswego will get a pool C bid after loosing to Plattsburgh  ;)

Where are you guys getting tickets from?

The official D3 page's link to tickets.com does not work

Re: SUNYAC Championship Lightning Round: Plattsburgh vs Oswego

Point of parliamentary procedure here (read: nit picking): That RIT team had two blemishes on their record: The obvious nut-punching loss to Plattsburgh in the finals, and a tie to Oswego.
I attended just 2 RIT games that year. They won every game that I did not attend.

I especially enjoyed being abused by the Corner Crew when Oswego was losing 3-0 in the first 5 minutes but had the last laugh in that game -- the only time that a tie felt like a really good win...

Big happenings in campus media this Saturday:

SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Championship To Be Broadcast On TV and Internet

SUNY Oswego and the Oswego State Athletic Department are pleased to announce that Saturday's SUNYAC men’s ice hockey championship game between No. 2 nationally-ranked Oswego State (24-2-0) and No. 4 nationally-ranked Plattsburgh (18-4-4) will be televised on three separate TV channels and over the Internet beginning at 5:30 p.m. Campus station WTOP will be providing a television broadcast on campus channel 10, local cable access channel 96, and Time Warner Digital Cable Channel 1026, which is available to the North Country viewing area including Syracuse, Auburn, Binghamton, and Utica. A live webcast will be available at www.oswego.edu/athletics/live.
Programming on channels 10, 96, and 1026 will start at 5:30 p.m. with the most recent episode of the Laker Lowdown. Hockey Night in Oswego will feature an hour-long pre-game show starting at 6 p.m. to discuss the upcoming contest with the puck dropping at 7 p.m.

A live radio broadcast will also provided by WNYO (88.9 FM) and is available at www.wnyo.org, as well as live stats, which can be accessed at www.sidearmstats.com/oswego/mhockey.

Those in the North Country can watch it digitally on TV if the Internet doesn't suit them. Coverage is going to be available to millions of people via television. I'm not sure if it's a first, but either way it is huge.

Re: SUNYAC Championship Lightning Round: Plattsburgh vs Oswego

With the way both teams played this season... and Oswego defeating Plattsburgh both times during the regular season, I will say that Oswego will beat Plattsburgh 3-2 to capture the SUNYAC Championship.

It will be a great game with two of the best teams in all of D-III hockey going at it in and this game will add to the already storied rivalry between Platty and Oswego.

Oswego 3 - Plattsburgh 2
