St. Mary's Univ. @ RPI, 10/05/13

Re: St. Mary's Univ. @ RPI, 10/05/13

This disorganization is how the other team scores. RPI, what are you doing!? -- AP

The clock wasn't running for about 6 or 7 seconds (at least based upon RPI TV). I guess one of the refs noticed and decided to adjust accordingly.

End of two and the team speed looks great. Not sure what the competition is that SMU plays against, but they do not look like a good hockey team.
Maybe it is us, but they look slow.
Not sure what to make of this exhibition game.

Offensively a little more organized this period-but a few more defensive lapses. Being outnumbered in the corners more times than i would like to see. But all in all-the rust seems to be coming off and we do seem to have a lot of depth up front.

Always hard with the canadian teams to know. But SMU does seem to have been in top echelon of their league the last few years. I look at this kind of game as just a chance to get our guys game experience and learn to play together against a physical opponent. Special teams cannot be faulted at all today. Taking a lot of penalties-but short handed we have been fine and the power play has scored along with a penalty shot. Would like to see more and faster puck movement when on the pp but hopefully that will come in the near future.
