The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
So far it appears RIT has frustrated our offensive system a bit. We seem to be struggling to complete passes and keep the puck in the zone to set up a substantial offensive attack ... 1:48 left in the 1st ... 1-1 still
1-1 end of the 1st period ... RIT with a flurry of shots in the last minute and were all over the Saints, Parks made a couple of nice saves and the defense was active, blocking shots ... So far, RIT has looked stronger than advertised and SLU is still struggling a bit.
Well, looks like I am headed out on the road for a bit ... Will update from time to time instead of as frequently for those that are checking in here for updates ... 1-1 End of the 1st
SLU scored early in the 2nd on the PP to make it 2-1 SLU ... Now it's midway through the 2nd period and we been quicker, stronger and had much better sustained pressure this period so far!
Lots of players in front of Parks screened him on the play ... I've noticed this is an ongoing trend with our goaltenders, if there is any traffic out in front of our goaltenders and we are in BIG trouble!!!
Another small thing I have noticed lately that is worth pointing out as well ... For some reason, Grey Carey (while an incredible shot he has) has been missing the net alot, both high and wide a lot more this season than he normal has ... Something to ponder
