Thats the problem. Talent wise, they are close and I'll give the edge to RPI based on that series result. But Clarkson - SLU games are so rarely about who is better, and often more about controlling nerves, emotions and paying the ref more. They are draining and I think less enjoyable as a fan. RPI will be a very tough challenge for SLU but I am relieved it's them and not Clarkson.

Who is planning on making this weekends all important quarterfinal series at Appleton Arena? ... I'll be there and hopefully will be bringing along a crew of loud supporters to try and boost what is bound to be a smaller turnout. Don't forget to bring a friend (or two or three or more) with you this weekend. Be loud, be proud and let's cheer these guys to victory and on to Lake Placid! Let's Go Saints!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO Martin with a last minute goal to give us the game 1 victory, and Hayton a shutout!

Funny thing: I felt Hayton was due for a shutout this past week.

We didn't start out pretty, but controlled the final 30 minutes by a good bit. Now the hardest victory of any playoff run: ending another teams season.
