Good period for Colgate. Lots of pressure, good forecheck, just constantly putting the onus on Tisi and the defense to make plays. Unfortunately, it only led to a goal, and really that was more the result of a quick breakout the other way. Transition in particular has been strong for Colgate. Just not giving the Saints many chances. I'd feel more comfortable with another goal (or two), but I can't be too disappointed with the lead. Well, except for the PP, but I'll save that for later... Hard to get a feel for how this one will play out, I could easily see it ending 1-0. Or not. If nothing else, I've been entertained to this point

Hmm . . . so far, 'Gate is winning most of the board battles. Aand, SLU's passing is quite frankly not up to the standard to which we are accustomed. Guess who's the best player on the ice for SLU.
If I were Coach Marsh (!), I'd tell the guys to relax & have more fun--quit squeezin' those sticks so hard.
