St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

Not often I watch at game time (usually catch up later on btn2go). But hope to be along for the ride.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

Even play by about the 10 minute mark. Gophers controlling a bit more...but vulnerable after any slip up. Gopher PP. Edit: penalty?

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

Control has shifted back away from the Gophers. But scoring chances have been on SCSU's side pretty much the whole period. When the shots are coming from the Gophers...they're on the outside. Schierhorn's going to have to keep a lid on this if the Gophs are going to stay in it.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

First 5 minutes, best play so far for the Gophers. Nothing to show. Scoring opportunities still somewhat rare to come by.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

END 2: Minnesota 2 - SCSU 1. Huskies weathered the storm for much of the period, but goals in 1:10 by Bischoff and Bristedt give U the lead.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

Bristedt has been progressing all year long. He's really arrived at the top of the sheet in terms of all around play. Not a huge surprise due to his unworldly Swedish pedigree coming in. Still nice to see him come into his own fairly early in his soph season.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 11/27/15

That was a big 2nd period for the Gophers. The difference was they're winning puck battles and forechecking hard. Need an insurance goal now to put them away. After last week's OT loss I hope they've learned their lesson on how to close teams out and show them where their bus is parked.;)
