Almost by definition, any undefeated team may not be as good as everyone thinks, Gophers included. With little doubt, at some point this season, both the Gophers and the Huskies will lose. It wouldn't be that surprising if it happened to both teams this weekend.

And that's fine. I haven't seen MN fans whine and accuse others of trolling when others have made statements like that (see: the MN-BC series) like you guys have. It's a whole new level with your fanbase.

Well, stop being butthurt and say, "Hey, we may not be as good as our record. Here's some possible weaknesses, here's how we think it'll pan out." Haven't seen that here. :p

But the D is very solid, Faragher is playing as well as he did last year but more than that there is a confidence in this team that has carried over from last year.

Motzko stressed scoring first on the road so we can dictate tempo, we gave up the first goal both nights and there was no panic from anyone.
They played their game and got the win, just like we did at Colgate.
Style points don't mean squat, wins do and so far, that's what we're doing.
If fans don't want to give us respect, so what.
This team will earn its respect on the ice, just like it did last year

Not sure I saw any posts of that nature in that thread, but I understand your point.

I know some of our fans get shaken by less optimistic opinions of our team, but those don't really bother me. Personally, I'm not going to tell anybody their opinions are wrong, but I will call out hypocrisy and ignorance when I see it. Besides, at this early point in the season, they're not really opinions, they're predictions. If they had any confidence in their predictions, they'd be willing to wager on them. I don't see a lot of wagers flying about, so I can only assume that their confidence levels aren't very high. Generally, when I don't have high confidence in my predictions, I hedge or just keep my yap shut.
