p.s. Tipsy, can you please either A) Take pictures of the looks on the whioux fans' faces when they see your jersey or B) Keep a running total of the number of shoulder bumps you get while walking around the concourse?

I haven't met any hostile and abusive UND fans. Have you had bad experiences up there?

I went as a Tech fan a couple years ago...and when walking around I was told "Huskies suck" (Which is true, but how often do you have random people yelling that to you in the concourse?) but the "**** the Huskies!" was really unbelievable. I mean who cares that much about Michigan Tech? I cannot wait to go back to UND as a UMD fan and see the reaction :D

I was going to take the high road and keep quiet, but the Marvin discussion did bring Jesse Martin to mind.
Yes Genoway is still playing although he did have to spend an extra year in Grand Forks which is a pretty big penalty for the hittee.:rolleyes: Genoway and Marvin could meet again in the AHL hopefully without permanent damage.

Jesse Martin is lucky to be alive and is NOT still playing hockey--although he was trying to skate in a "no-hit" league in Calgary, not sure how that worked out. Ironically Brad Malone is owned by the Denver based Colorado Avalanche. I doubt if he would attend to many DU games wearing a fighting sioux jersey with his name on the back.:eek:
IMHO Jesse handled the whole situation far better than Malone who basically had no contact util they met in a hotel lobby, I believe it was at the final five. Jesse called Malone when still in the hospital. http://www.denverpost.com/ci_17640583?source=pkg

BTW Paukovich and Bina are both still playing, ECHL and DEL respectively.
