These games are VERY important for PWR comparisons as this will affect common opponent and record vs. TUC comparisons. I think if both teams play an "A" game that SCSU still wins both games. That being said the Huskies could certainly not show up and really screw up their post season chances and/or seeding. This might be one of the most important series of the second half.

It depends on whether Quinnipiac remains a TUC. After getting swept this past weekend, the Bobcats actually went over the TUC cliff, now sitting in 27th in the RPI.

Basically, the Huskies would like to sweep this weekend and then see QU get back on track after that - of course, sweeping the Q would probably just send their RPI ranking even lower, so it's a catch-22. If QU became a TUC again after this weekend, it would be at the expense of SCSU's record against TUCs (since they'd have to lose one or two), so it's really a wash, so you go out and win and then root for the Bobcats for the rest of the year.

Very well said. It's this exact type of series the Huskies haven't showed up for the past few seasons. This wknd could make a big difference for the Huskies when it comes to the NCAAs IF Q can do well the rest of the season. Sweep is a must.

Now that Dunn got the start last Friday, does Motzko keep him in net Friday or does he go back to the 1st half rotation of Lee, then Dunn. They started the 2nd half on a good note, let's keep it the same and give Dunn the nod on Friday!

It appears that you are more obsessed with Union than everyone on this site except for the Union fans. You always try to claim that Union is obsessed with RPI but that couldn't be further from the truth. Maybe that is your justification for you being obsessed with Union. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to beat you guys for obvious reasons (because a lot of the fans on here talk so much ****, because of your location, and because you are in our league) but that doesn't mean we're obsessed.

GET IT DONE, QUINNY! I think and hope they will be angry and prepared for this weekend. Unfortunately, I will rarely be posting this week because I am extremely busy, but I wish good luck to both teams. :) Again, I really hope that Quinny will be able to regain some of their early season magic for this weekend but it will be a very tough matchup for them. We'll see what happens.

I'm an RPI alum. You're our travel partner. That's about the extent of things. I guess you didn't see the "well done" comment after you guys beat Quinnipiac yesterday. But then again, if you acknowledged that, it would be much harder to paint me as "obsessed," wouldn't it? After all, if I were obsessed with Union AND making positive remarks about them, that'd make me a Union fan, wouldn't it?

Is this the beginning of #26 Union vs. St, Clooud part II? God, I hope not. That was a once-in-a-lifetime pwning.

Like you said though, this thread is about Quinnipiac and St. Cloud so I will only be posting about that matchup.

Try again, junior. I believe that was when you became red for life. Meanwhile, I landed about 20 green ones from that thread and one little grey one (thanks, buddy!). Yeah, that's a brilliant "pwning," buckwheat.

Actually, don't bother. I'm too busy watching my team on national television.

Moving past the romper room...

I agree that this is a big series for the Huskies, but I smell trap games, too. They say an animal is most dangerous when it's wounded, and that describes Quinnipiac to a T. They are in desperate need of a win and it's been a quick fall from the top, both nationally and in the ECAC for the Bobcats, and they won't get back into ECAC play for a couple of weeks. They're at home and desperate - State's going to have to play better than they did yesterday.

Congratulations? You got greens from RPI and St. Cloud fans who outnumber Union fans on here by about 20-1. Meanwhile, I got red reps from those same people. If you are proud of that, then more power to you. Personally, I don't really give a **** about my "rep" on a college hockey message board.

Doubtful. Eastern games aren't on TV as often, especially in the ECAC.
