So... did Cornell just win the National Championship?

Re: So... did Cornell just win the National Championship?

The overall #1 seed at the time it was called was North Dakota.

So yes. Cornell won.

The PWR is only valid at tournament selection time after all regular season and conference tournament games have been played. BOOM!

Are there any more regular season and/or conference tournament games to be played?

DOUBLE BOOM!! :p:D:D

Everyone and their mother know the poles don’t matter! :)

Either way, I’m already not looking forward to having to hear the 10 Duluth fans say how their team is defending and reigning champs until 2020-2021 Frozen Four.

The tournament will need to be simmed using the college hockey video game.

Exactly, without their vital input it is nothing, NOTHING! It's like eating pizza without any dough.

I'm just hopeful that nobody actually does something silly like hang a fictitious national championship banner. There is only one program in college hockey that would do something as ridiculous as that: you know who you are. ;)

FWIW, I still have the simulator that the guys at College Hockey Weekly put together for their, never completed, Top 100 Teams of All-Time Tournament. I could run the data in there and simulate the rest of the season.

If there is an interest, Ill put in the work.

I guess we would have to simulate the rest of the conference tournaments first, then have someone pull the pairwise and then run the tourney.

Or, just take the field as is?

I'd be interested. I'd also say you should do the conference tournaments as well.
