Vic, Joe, Brian, Mark, Brandon - Nice to hear from you (and everyone else here) too.

This article is certainly encouraging. Probably won't see a lot of Ws anytime soon, but it sounds like there's a good person running the show.

Cody Monds to Providence. Former St. Lawrence commit. Dynamic F plays w/lots of pace. Changes direction on a dime & the puck never slows. Smaller but size never limits.

It's gonna be a rough next half decade in Canton I think..Jeesh.

History shows in first 18 months 10-12 roster changes, which includes verbal commits. When a coaching change occurs. So here i think is 1 of 12. World is not coming to an end, this is part of the redirection.

Suggested thread title for 19-20. SLU Skating Saints Hockey 2019-20 - give me a Brekke!

I was in Canton today and drove around the SLU campus. Major construction at Appleton. What are the planned additions/improvements?

Short story: new main entrance, widened concourses, concessions, "social space" (which apparently is Laurentian-ese for a bar), technology upgrades, new training center.

Re: SLU Skating Saints Hockey '18-'19 *MORRIS FIRED*

Not too many of us left since the exodus to the facebook page but I like this site way better and hope to keep St. Lawrence alive on this site, so it's time for this year's thread. Really ugly start to the season, have watched both the scrimmage and the Maine games and those three losses doesn't give much hope for this season. We thought last year was ugly but with the schedule in front of the team, this year might be somehow worse. Only ray of hope is we have strong goaltending but what can they do when they are facing over 40 shots a night. Big, slow defense and zero goal scorers on offense equals a mess. Team is full of very good guys who are extremely hard workers but the reality is we don't have much actual D-I level talent on a very young team and that is going to cause one long season at Appleton.

Hope I'm proven to be wrong and the team jams it down my throat for being negative with my initial thoughts on the season...brighter days are ahead hopefully sooner that later. Go Saints!

Who is the other assistant coach? Rumor is another hire has been made.
