Well deserved first period lead. Certainly got off enough shots and perhaps should be up by one more goal but a lead in the first period is always nice

I thought that if we came out of that period without a lead, SLU would gain the momentum. But with that goal in the last 12 seconds of the period we got it back again.

Out shooting SLU by a bunch, we need to get another one soon. Letting them hang close is not a good thing
