For those inquiring minds, I was able to get a hold of Servinis at the talk, and I asked him simply, "Was it offsides?" He smirked a bit and pondered, and he said it was the heat of th moment. His summarized response, highlighted in white:


"After watching the tape numerous times, if they had instant replay back then, who knows if we'd be here celebrating this today."


There you go.

I still feel that RPI would have won even if that goal had not counted.

I was there-and I still don't know if he was offsides. But I too felt we would find a way to beat Terreri once more to win. All year long Jenny and I went to virtually every game, home and away, and it just seemed that they always found a way to win.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, it was not offsides. If it was, someone wuld have blown the play dead. :p

I was actually far more worried about Minnesota-Duluth. If you recall we had to make a late comback to tie them to force overtime. I don't think I was able to breathe for most of that game. I just felt after we won that one in double OT that we were not destined to lose.:)

I was surprised to hear that Ken Hammond said that Addesa didn't approve of his going to the net at the time.

Turning point of the game-and there was lots of those moments. I felt Hammond was the most valuable player in that game.

The Child injury leaves us with a pairing of Torney and Raley. Those guys are going to have to suck it up and have a big game.
