Slu@rpi 1/27/12

Re: Slu@rpi 1/27/12

Steinel and Lynch are unfamiliar names to me. Must be new this year.

Dumas(s) is hit or miss, while Chip McDonald is fair.

Had Dumas down here for RPi/Princeton. He mostly let them play but did call a late one on us (deserved or not) which affected the outcome. We have had him again since but i do not recall what sort of game it was. I just hope this weekend we don't even notice who the officials are. And hopefully we will have linesmen who can just drop the puck for faceoffs without making a production of it.

Re: Slu@rpi 1/27/12

Lineups are:

Lee/McGowan/O'Grady (not quite, DrD)
Cullen/Laliberté/Haggerty
Tinordi/Higgs/Zach S
Rogic/Malchuk/AAG

Leonard/Bergin
Leboeuf/Bailen
Koudys/Dolan

Merriam listed as the starter, with Diebold and Coupal as backups.

That makes the scratches Curadi, Neal, Greg B, Smith, and Rabbani.

The bald bullfrog isn't listed for us this weekend, so we should be OK.

Why "Zach S" which sounds awful close to jack***?

Do you know how difficult it is to type "eder"? I mean, it's bad enough I have something close to it for my own name...

EDIT: And I'm awaiting a smart-*** comment about DVORAK keyboards...:p

Still holding out hope we will see an L-M-N line of Laliberte, McGowan and Neal this year.

Re: Slu@rpi 1/27/12

Haven't both Laliberté and McGowan been playing center this year, though? Or is this just evidenced by the lineup presented in this thread?
IIRC, the last time JL played center was the Lake Placid game. Of course, during the course of games lines do change.

Pretty sure either of them could be moved to wing. I also would like to see the reuniting of the line from the Dartmouth game of Malchuk, Tinordi, and Cullen. Malchuk and Tinordi that game just seemed to have a special chemistry that was working well.

Re: Slu@rpi 1/27/12

Ralph-not stealing your thunder-but just got a call from Connecticut that Delbarton beat South Kent 3-2 and Drew Melanson scored the first goal for Delbarton. No other information yet.

No problem. I'll look if the box is up.
