And I may surprise everybody and grow some income by winning Powerball. I never expect it, just that it may happen because it's statistically possible. Someone is going to win.....eventually.

I try every year to convince myself that I am not getting older. Yet this recruiting class is the first where nearly all of the players were BORN after my freshman year at MTU.

It's my experience, having been in positions similar to suzanne's, that leadership will not pay much attention to negative comments. They will however, listen and respond to constructive suggestions for change. I suggest that anyone with anything to say to the administration should make it something positive.

Personally I think that with the advent of Damon things are really heading in the right direction, and I'm glad of it.
Rick Snyder said it right last night in the state of the state speech. You have to have disciplined, undeterred,determined positive input, and things will get better. it's a fact.

I don't see next year's D being any worse unless Seigo cuts out early. Nielsen is solid, Brown is improving, and I hear Sova's name a little more every weekend (usually in a good way). From what I hear of Fillion, who is currently 2nd among BCHL defensemen in points, he is good enough that he could be Top 4 material for us pretty quick.

But wouldn't it be fun to put 3 Pietilas on a line? These guys have been playing together in the backyard all their lives.

That is reason why Class A Intramural teams are so good, so let's hope it works.

Dirk will finally have a good reason to continually use the players full name. If only Tech could get one more Pietila to play goalie. Then there would be a good reason to always say "goalie ________ Pietila makes the save and another great save by goaltender ___________ Pietila, the rebound goes just wide of goaltender ________ pietila's net."

I like Dirks' broadcasts, but that really becomes annoying after awhile.
