Sorry CD...thought there was a "schedule" thread and looked for it before dumping the Buckeye schedule in the WCHA thread. Obviously I didn't look hard enough...it was the wee hours though. :)

The Gophers are usually pretty late with the release of their schedule. Like to kind of piece it together by looking at WCHA and other team schedules...that seem to release theirs earlier.

Once another schedule or two are out there I will start to piece together "the Grid" (as some have come to call it) so we can unofficially watch our schedules take shape until the official releases come out..

Also have a Google Calender going with games filled in already from the releases.

Decided to withdraw my unnecessary, low hitting, lame@.$.$ humor attempt, whereas Bearsfan's posting history clearly is that of a men's hockey fan, and he/she somehow stumbled into the wrong thread.

Actually, taking a look at past threads, the Gophers' schedule last year came out in mid-June. And it was posted sooner than UMD's -- go figure.

I've had an insider look at the upcoming schedule for the Gophers. It indicated four non-conference games in October -- two on the road and two at home -- and then another two-game non-conference weekend at home in November. Since I don't know how finalized it is, though, I don't want to name opponents yet.

One thing I do feel comfortable mentioning is the off weekend in November -- probably to align with the Four Nations Cup tournament.

I'm "pretty sure" Harvard is coming back to town. I've also heard a team from the College Hockey America conference and one from Hockey East will be involved in the October Classic.

Union Schedule

Lady Dutch will play non-conference with Northeastern, BU, Sacred Heart, UNH, and Syracuse to start the year. Also they will visit Providence following thanksgiving and play Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont to end the first half and open the second.

Providence Schedule

The Friars will open with an Exhibition series with McGill. Other highlights include a series at RMU to open the year followed by lots of the usuals in SLU, Clarkson, Syracuse, Colgate, RPI and Princeton, as well as a game with Vermont in the middle of November.
