Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

It must be be something with the site and this site if I even type Photo bucket as a string (doing it here ***********). It turns it into ********

Mods had to make that change to comply with a smut complaint from Google Adsense a couple years back.

There is a way you can still post images using inline HTML img src tags.

I don't see northeastern winning out, but they certainly could, they played real well at the beanpot and BC doesn't have to win, nor does PC. Still both teams will play hard and it's hard to maintain that many wins in a row.
I could see a few surprises as outbids however. let's just win 2 more.
BTW the state finals hockey games were packed. Parking lot was completely full and I parked at the home depot across the street.

As of now Dish will be broadcasting the WCHA Final Five on Channel 412-30 Friday and 412-28 on Saturday. 412 is the sports channel in the Denver market.

*img src=""* */img*

Replace the asterisks with angle brackets <>

IDK...

This site must recognize the character string photo bucket (with no space) and block it our something. Even if I type it (did here ***********) in a basic post and don't try to make it a link, url, img, etc., it just blanks it out with astericks. It's idiot proof! :)

But, got this to work...

Sorry, yeah forgot to say you also need to use an image service other than ***********. Try Imgur.

So glad I have cable. Grrr. At least I get to see the games in HD on WCHA.TV.... or not. Might have to find an unpopular bar with Dish so I can control the TV.

I've been trying to pay attention to the MSU-LSSU game, mostly out of boredom. These MSU announcers are terrible. Almost unlistenable bad.

I understand why they're doing it but I think the WCHA is making a mistake with forcing people to buy session passes. IMO, they don't have the necessary demand to force people to buy tickets for games they have minimal interest in. I'd love to see Tech play in person for the first time in 11 years but I'm not that interested in spending up $70+ dollars to watch one game, and $140+ dollars with no guarantee Tech makes it to the championship game. I think it also decreases the likelihood of local, unaffiliated fans checking it out. The vast majority of Grand Rapids area residents have never even heard of the WCHA. Forcing them To pony up significant money for unfamiliar teams makes no sense.

Are you talking about a pair of tickets? Because its $70 to see all 3 games?

I'm calling it now, the BG/MSU game will draw less than 1000.
Tech/Ferris has the possibility of a crowd 6x larger.

Side note: I heard Dirk say yesterday Tech would play at 4 next Friday. CHN has the Tech/Ferris game as 7:30.

Do we have our choice as #1 seed?
Or is there possibly a "Gopher Rule" for Ferris at Van Andel?

With Ferris State being the closest geographical team to Grand Rapids they’ll most likely be playing in the late game Friday.
