That could be a goal but it might be tough to say it was. His glove is in the net when he hits it into his glove. Problem will be is it over the line completely?

UND has one off the post and Lee is able to gobble it up after getting knocked down from the shot beforehand, keeps it a 2goal game. post play scrum is putting people into the penalty boxes, 2 (more) SCSU players are in there, didn't see a shot of how many from UND are in there, i'm guessing they'll be coincidentals

Power Play over, still 2 guys from each team in the Box through the end of the period. 36sec elft in 1st... and Lammy takes the faceoff and almost puts one home

UND showed a lot more energy than SCSU in the 1st period, but both of UND's goals had a bit of luck to them. Props to the Sioux for taking advantage of them, but the 1st one bouncing a bunch off of 3-4 different people before Zajak had it land on his stick and pounding it home, then Blood tossing it to net and having it bounce off the side of it, straight forward to Lammy who was closing in and put it in the net. Let's hope SCSU can get a lucky break themselves in the 2nd to make it close!

Perhaps they were fortunate bounces but they don't happen if guys aren't going hard to the net. :)

Most goals in hockey have luck involved, especially at this level...it's hockey...:p

Sioux with a takeaway for a 3 on 2, but Novak pokechecks it away enough to thwart the rush. Sioux keeping the energy up, Huskies need a couple quality chances here to stem of that

toews gets a pass back and nets a 1timer past Lee, looks like he might have gotten screened on that shot. 3-0 Sioux, about 12min left in 2nd period.
