Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but you don't know for sure.
And out of curiousity, who is going to get us there?
Keep in mind, we can't afford to pay a high amount for a coach.

I just took a peek over there and noted discourse in the bracketology thread that you guys probably aren't gonna be #1 seed in the tournament (which made me laugh since I don't think anybody has that level of respect for your team, good though they may be). I think SCSU fans ought to just hope that the Huskies make the tournament. You are currently #19 in Pairwise. In the next 30 days, you guys have series with Denver, North Dakota and Minnesota (two of them at home, though). You'll know where you season is or or isn't going on the night of Saturday, February 9th. By then the die will probably be cast one way or the other.

after our last two series I am more convinced than ever that Motzko, well a decent recruiter and scout, is a **** poor coach. Its seems like we have no power-play system, or D is more a danger than a reassurance and we got 11 hits in a 60 minute hockey game. How the hell does that happen???

p.s. 5 minute penalty to me for using hell in an internet forum post.

You are using hits as stat to somehow justify that Motzko can't coach?
Our PP is ranked 4th in the league in conference play and we have the #1 PK and #2 scoring defense in conference play too.
They are pressing and not playing well and they know it, but it's not like the season is over.

Frozen four or Bust!!
This season is very frustrating. They have as much talent as anybody in the country and the team is not coming together. People say this a senior league and veteran teams win. However, this is the second time in a few years a veteran Husky team has under achieved. The last time the team imploded and they kicked two players off the team. This years team won't have that problem, but if they don't make the NCAA's will be even bigger chokers.
The good thing is they still have time to right the ship. THe bad thing is the
Their non conference play has put them in such a bad spot they will have a very hard time making the NCAA tourney even if they finish top three in the league. These things should be and are a reflection of the coach. Does all this mean he is a bad coach? It doesn't make things look good that is for sure. I personally don't think he is a bad coach. I just want more out of this program than other people do and average or a little above average is not good enough. The funny thing is if you asked Motzko I bet he would agree.
