Austin Ortega and Kirk Thompson (Massa's backup) both said tonight they think they're the better team. If that is true, the last 3 games, you would not be 0-3 with 4 total goals

They definitely were the better team last night. That was one of the worst games I've seen us play this year. If we didn't have my future baby-daddy Lindgren in net, it would have been a blowout. I can see why UNO wins home games. The ice and the stanchions are horrible here. I hope the boys in red and black can stop skating in the swamp tonight and win a few races. UNO didn't even look tired in the first OT last night, so we need to come out with drive and want unlike last night.

This has been a year for Saturdays for us, so I am optimistic.

Hyperbole. Okay, shall I just say he has gotten us through some hairy games this year.

Just exaggerating to get the point across. I watched the game again this morning, and that win definitely goes to Lindy.

UNO definitely outplayed SCSU for most of the game last night - Lindgren was on fire.

Stellar crowd of under 5,000 on hand to watch. I have no problems with the new arena housing 7,500. Playoff hockey, we're 3rd in the conference and we can't get over 5,000 to show up. Brutal.

Thompson played well, although he only had to make a few tough plays (one really impressive sprawling save).

Call it puck luck all you want or not getting the breaks, but we haven't got the breaks in March for nearly a decade. At some point it's not just puck luck.

I'd love to say you're a bunch of terrible fans, but the truth is, everybody has terrible attendance every year during the playoffs. No idea why… people seriously can't plan out in advance. "Oh no… I don't know if we'll be at home or not a week ahead of time, so I guess we can't go." If I didn't have work I couldn't gotten out of not only would I have gone to St. Cloud for this weekend, I would've gone to Duluth, Omaha or Grand Forks, and may have considered Oxford or Denver too.

And after going down for the series in Omaha in December I'd say you guys owed us a game in your building. Maybe two. "U-N-O Panic! (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap) U-N-O Panic!"

Even North Dakota failed to break the 11k mark last night...only getting 10,824 in attendance. It doesn't help that the students are on Spring Break and North Dakota didn't clinch home ice until about 2 weeks ago...but you would think that more people would be wanting to see their team on home ice.

They may not have clinched, but UND fans should have known for MONTHS they'd be hosting a series this weekend.

Right before that first power play goal the UNO pxp guy said "Ben Storm has one place and one place only to be on this power play; right in front of the net."

Hopefully we are in. Then my stress level with SCSU at the tourney can be used as an excuse at work.

We like Brad bc drunk Mitch in Huntsville after the Saturday game was talking to a linesman who came up to us in our SCSU jerseys and started a convo. He goes "I hope you didn't have any issues with any calls we had this weekend." We thought about it and told him no, we thought they were pretty good. "No, but if you were a Shepherd we probably would have yelled some ****." The linesman goes "Oh yeah? Hold on..."

He calls over Brad Shepherd, and I have to credit Mitch for not backing off. He told Brad that he has yelled some terrible things at him over the years. Then he asked to take a picture with him and Brad obliged, probably not realizing that Mitch was gonna put his arm around Brad's shoulder and put on a big ol' **** eating grin on his face. :D
