I do not have high hopes for this weekend. We've scored the 2nd fewest goals in the WCHA and we're playing in a rink where we suck.

It means if the team plays like they have the last 6 games they will get swept.....Hopefully they decide to come out and play hard for 6 periods like they did at Miami. If they do that I think they will get a couple points. If they don't, they will get swept.:(

As for the Sioux...if they continue to show up on Saturday night, they will probably sweep. :)

Other than last year, their last few trips they have played hard up there.
Right now reading things from Motzko, all he's looking for is "one more goal."
Guys like Raboin, Lasch and Marvin have been singled but Motzko also says he doubts they'll be held down much longer.

Sorry but I'm way past the point of giving this team a pat on the butt for "playing hard".

If Zajac's line can shut down or at least limit Rakhshani's line, I think UND should have a successful weekend. If not, it will be a tough couple of games for the Sioux.

I'm not so confident.
SCSU has good scoring talent...and while they may not be lighting the lamp much so far this year, it's only a matter of time before players like Roe, Lasch, and Marvin start getting points.
I just hope that they wait until after this weekend's series. :)

I think the key for a Husky sweep is to win on Friday, and then also win on Saturday-by scoring more goals than the Sioux. Can that be so hard? I predict shutouts both nights for the Huskies, meaning that the Sioux will not get any goals this weekend. Harsh, but true. You heard it hear first.

Is that all there is?
