Take it easy, SCSU played a great game. I was just complimenting their defense tonight. Very impressive. It was a downright clinic out there.

You don't know what a trap is, do you? Hint: It has nothing to do with sitting back and waiting.

I take it this is the first St. Cloud game you've seen this year. A one goal lead is NOT safe.

No, I haven't seen them on TV but I am impressed. Let's not get into a war over the trap argument. What I observed was a sound defense that didn't let UND carry the puck past the red line without some kerfuffle. Let's just leave it at that. If SCSU wins tomorrow, they win the Cup.

Ok, I recant on the trap rant. I just haven't seen a team play like that(with a lead) in quite some time. Anyways, if I were a SCSU fan I wouldn't care what system they were playing right now. It's winning.

That has a lot to do with it. SCSU didn't employ a trap until they went up 3-0, which pretty much every coach in hockey would do at that point, and even then it wasn't full on Jacques Lemaire.

St. Cloud is a **** good team. If you display the effort we did tonight, they will dominate the game like they did tonight.

I said exactly that.
All we're saying is, we are not a trapping team but we are a sound defensive team and have been most of the year.

I knew SCSU could be this good coming into the season, they just tried to throw us off the trail with their non-conference play. Its a great time to be a Huskies fan.

Meanwhile, UNO plays exactly four more games against teams with an overall winning record, all at home, one of whom is currently right in the middle of a 1-3-1 skid, that we get weekend after next. Hint: it's who you beat tonight.
