No, since that game meant absolutely nothing in the long run, for our long term goal.

Not bitter, either. Some of you (not necessarily singling you out) forget that some MN fans do cheer for the conference overall. I'm not one of those, but frankly, I had you guys winning the region, and now that BC is out, I have you winning the title.

While I'm not particularly fond of the Husky Hockey fans ;) I like Motzko a lot, and have a lot of respect for the kind of teams he puts together and how they play the game. It's great to see the program rewarded with this trip to the Frozen Four that they have earned. They looked like a championship team all weekend against some very stiff competition. Truly a great day (and weekend) for SCSU hockey!

Now off to Pittsburgh with you, and I don't want to see you again until you have a title.

Between Motzko getting picked as assistant coach with Lucia for the WJC and our first Frozen Four in the history of the program, it's been a big week. The future is bright.

I was watching Joe Schmit doing the sports on channel 45 (I was watching King of Queens), and when they showed the highlights my eyes kinda got misty. Embarrassing.

This was the Greatest weekend and is going to be the greatest weekend (in a couple weeks) in the HISTORY of SCSU hockey. A lot of people( SCSU fans, WCHA fans, or Minnesota hockey fans) are very excited and a lot of people are p.o.'ed that their team got knocked out. What ever the case, lets just support the accomplishments that this team has made and wish them the best. Lets keep the name calling out of it. GO HUSKIES!!!

I started screaming like a little girl with about a minute left in todays game! I have been going to SCSU games since before they were Division 1 and have been a season ticket holder for almost all of their D1 seasons. I have been waiting for this for a looooonnnnggggg time! Nothing embarrassing about getting a little misty eyed.

I am not at the St. Cloud Regional Airport for the SCSU hockey team homecoming, but my brother is and he said that the Airport is a**es to elbows packed with people waiting to congratulate them. Plane just landed.

Had a nice, long 3 hour drive to decompress after the game. What a weekend. Congrats to the team, staff, school, and fellow fans. And thank you for the kind words to the fans of other programs who have stopped by this thread.

Flight to Pittsburgh is booked. Eyes on the prize.

I've been going to games since October of 1994 and had season tickets for close to 15 years. I bought tix for Frozen Four tonight. Now I need to figure out if I'm flying or driving. Been a long time coming.
