I agree with most the people on here hoping for us to play mankato. I'm sorry but **** I hate the style of play UW has, its just crowded defense with not enough offensive strike for my liking. I see mankato as a bit of a similar team to us and it would be interesting to see how much different of a game we would have with them compared to earlier this season where mankato simply just wasn't clicking. I also feel that our chances of winning would be better playing mankato, even though as I said above they have a lot of similarities with our team. I say that because its clear that when we played wisconsin it was a definite split and thats how it ended that weekend. both nights were very close and one team one by what seemed to me as luck. I also feel that our players would come into the game a bit more confident knowing they had swept mankato already, even though we all know that msu is much different now. Playing wisconsin would make for a nervous game to watch as it seems like any outcome could happen. Our offense just have a very hard time setting up good plays with wisconsin's defensive style. Then again it was a game in wisconsin and the Ice sheet was much smaller.

I really respect mankato as a team as well as with their fans. Go MSU

I don't mind watching SCSU, they are entertaining. However, nothing about MSU-M nor WI interests me. This overall matchup is a yawner for me. I'd much rather see SCSU-CC, that type of matchup.

But it is there first time there in 10 years! It is always cool seeing a new team play (or new to me).

Meh. I'm gonna sell my Thu afternoon ticket as well, due to the boredom factor. I guess I'll see SCSU-MN on Sat night, I suppose. Probably. /sarcasm

There's a good reason for that. If you've paid attention to his posts at all on this forum you'd know that he doesn't understand hockey.

I'm actually anxious to see the UND-CC game. That one should be fun.

Anyway, I don't expect anyone to upset MN or SCSU. The one thing I'd be afraid of is a let-down by SCSU, due to their easy games last week.

Saturday wasn't as easy as the final score dictated. It was 1-0 to start the third and the Seawolves scored shortly after SCSU got the second goal. Kamal played pretty well and the bounces just weren't going for the first 2+ periods. Good tune up game for the Final Five IMO. Forced the players to keep working the whole game, pulled away late.

Games were lopsided, but not easy per se.
Saturday's game was 1-0 heading to the 3rd.
Also, since we don't have a tourney spot locked up yet, I don't think we will have a letdown.

Thanks to you and redshoes for the 2nd game info. And I don't THINK you'll have a letdown, but I'd be a little afraid of it.

If we had a tourney spot locked up, maybe.
But again, since we don't, it would be pretty horrible and pathetic if they did.

It seems like you are just being a baby because you aren't getting your wish of a UND/MN final.

You make no sense. I'm pumped for a MN-SCSU matchup on Sat night. I'm pumped for either a MN-CC or MN-UND on Friday night. The afternoon games seem boring to me. I have no interest. Not difficult to understand.

7:00PM Friday to 7:00PM Friday is 7 days. Doesn't get any more simple than that. They will have played 5 games in that time frame.

I can understand being bored by Wisconsin. I don't think Mankato is a boring team. To each his own, I guess.

1) Friday
2) Saturday
3) Sunday
4) Monday
5) Tuesday
6) Wednesday
7) Thursday
8) Friday

Maybe you should leave the math to those of us who didn't attend SCSU...
