SCSU Frozen Four thread

Re: SCSU Frozen Four thread

We start our march to the Frozen Four this weekend in Alaska. 2 wins will get us a little closer to Florida. Of course, Florida is still a ways from Alaska.

Re: SCSU Frozen Four thread

Yes! The march to Tampa has begun, with a nice win over the Nanooks. Now if da Huskies can learn to shoot on the power play, they may be able to score more goals.

That seems to be a recurring problem the last few years. Being to timid and not pulling the trigger on the power play. What did they have, like 3 consecutive penalties in the 2nd (including some 5-3 time) and only managed 5 shots on goal the whole period. It's early, but it just seems like this happens every year. Hopefully it can be chalked up to limited special teams practice and first game woes.

Re: SCSU Frozen Four thread

By the sounds of it Lee played well last night which is a great sign. A whole game went by and Skeeterman doesn't want to replace Lee yet! Wow, maybe the Huskies are going to Tampa!

Yeah...they love that cutesy "wait for the perfect shot" passing debacle on the PP. I hate that.

Re: SCSU Frozen Four thread

So if you guys wanna use the thread with the bad title and no red face, use it already!

Re: SCSU Frozen Four thread

How can I add the red face now? Is it too late? Will anything ever be the same?

Will Lee become a decent goalie? If he keeps practicing and playing, there may be hope. But, I mean, what has he done for us lately?

Now our chance for an undefeated season is gone. However, at the coaches show, Mr. Motzko acknowledged that they need to shoot more, and that they are working on that in practice-shooting, shooting, shooting, and doing it from all kinds of angles.

It's gotta drive him crazy, too, to watch guys passing up shots all the time.

I think Motzko needs the roto rooter 2000 to get all those Gopher demons out and then maybe this team can move forward....:D

Maybe he could use some of my new peanus cream, too. It doesn't cause scaling like the first version. Plus, you know it's safe cause it's been tested on animals.

I'm here to help.
