DU wins 5-3, good game for the Pios except for a 5 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd period.

Whew. SCSU always comes to play. Intensity seemed low, at least compared to last week.

Nice to get a big win on the national stage on the NHL Network.

Miami, Umass-Lowell and Michigan State all lost tonight. For Lowell that is their 2nd loss this week.

Gwoz will take the win. Turning point was Chevy's save followed by DU taking the puck down the ice and Matt Donovan getting the 5th goal. What could have been a 4-4 game became 5-3 in DU's favor.
