Re: SCSU @ CC Friday Night

Anyone know starting lineups yet?

CC lines:

FORWARDS
1. LW Jaden Schwartz, C Rylan Schwartz, RW Dakota Eveland
2. LW Alexander Krushelnyski, C Nick Dineen, RW Scott Winkler
3. LW Archie Skalbeck, C David Civitarese, RW William Rapuzzi
4. LW Scott Wamsganz, C Tim Hall, RW Jeff Collett

DEFENSEMEN
1. LD Gabe Guentzel, RD Joe Marciano
2. LD Peter Stoykewych, RD Mike Boivin
3. LD Aaron Harstad, RD Arthur Bidwill

GOALTENDERS
1. Josh Thorimbert
2. Joe Howe
3. Courtney Lockwood

Biggest changes: defenseman Eamonn McDermott injured a knee during practice this week, and is out for a month, replaced tonight by Art Bidwill. Ald William Rapuzzi had been skating on the Schwartz line, but Dakota Eveland takes that spot tonight, with Rapuzzi moving to the third line.

Hope CC comes out with some energy tonight. Go Tigers!

CC 1 SCSU 0 - 11:41 left in the 1st

Alexander Krushelnyski takes advantage of a turnover and scores for the Tigers, with an assist from Mike Boivin.

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 4:40 left in the 1st

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 4:40 left in the 1st

Nick Dineen scores for CC with the extra skater during a delayed penalty call on SCSU's Nick Oliver. Krushelnyski and Peter Stoykewych get assists. Dineen and Kevin Gravel also head to the box for their part in a post-goal melee. CC PP coming up.

CC 2 SCSU 0 - end of 1

CC 2 SCSU 0 - end of 1

SCSU killed off that last penalty, but CC will start the second with 1:24 of power play time, while David Eddy sits for tripping Mike Boivin. Tigers really dominated that period, and shots on goal are now CC 12 SCSU 6.

Second period under way, and SCSU has killed off that initial penalty. Tigers had a real good chance there near the end, but Faragher made a nice stop.

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 10:46 left in the 2nd

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 10:46 left in the 2nd

Both teams with some flurries this period, but nothing solid yet for either squad.

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 9:23 left in the 2nd

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 9:23 left in the 2nd

Another CC PP. Dowd to the box for taking a cheap slash at Thorimbert after a save on Eddy's shot.

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 12:08 left in the 2nd

CC 2 SCSU 0 - 12:08 left in the 2nd

4-on-4 hockey for 30 sec, then a Husky PP, after CC's Boivin is called for tripping.

CC 2 SCSU 2 - 3:31 left in the 2nd

CC 2 SCSU 2 - 3:31 left in the 2nd

Gravel scores for SCSU, but it's being reviewed.

CC 2 SCSU 1 - end of 2nd

CC 2 SCSU 1 - end of 2nd

Tigers caught a break when that apparent SCSU goal was discounted, and need to come out with a better period to close out the game. Go CC!

Re: SCSU @ CC Friday Night

Why was the goal disallowed?
